Steve Butler
Singer/songwriter Steve Butler is a recording artist, writer and filmmaker, active in community arts and politics. His music is a fusion of country, reggae and rock and his lyrics explore mythologies of love, loss and redemption. Currently performing and recording with the Bad Apple Band, Steve has performed at the Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Muster and Village Festival. As a member of SWAG he was instrumental in organizing the 2007 Peace Convergence, documenting important issues and events in The Rainbow Coalition Rides Again. Steve teaches Arts at CQUniversity and has published several articles on cultural politics. In 2009 Steve is “C2C”, focusing on music and envisaging a ‘positive vibration’ for the future. |
